Salt , Light and Joy

    God's children are the salt of the earth. If the salt has lost it's saltiness, what good is it? Can it be made salty again? Yes, By God's power , by the Holy Spirit. If the salt desires not to be made salty again or if the salt thinks that it can re-saltify itself, it deludes itself and is good for nothing except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by by men.

    God's true children are the light of the world, like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. Only a foolish or perhaps retarded individual would light a lamp and put it under a basket where nobody would be able to benefit from it's intended function. A  light is meant to put somewhere  where everyone that desires to benefit from it has the opportunity, that those floundering in darkness may find thier way.

     Many of God's children have never entered into the joy that is intended to be our's in the here and now. In sickness and in health it can be ours. In triumph or in tragedy it can be ours. Do not let those children that have not entered into the the joy of the Lord, prevent you from entering into it, and staying in it. Many will try to burden you, because they themselves are burdened. Many have one foot in this world and one foot in Our Father's Kingdom. Don't let these children dissuade you from planting both of your feet squarely in Our Father's Kingdom.  You are born again, you are his child, and there is no limit to the powers, personalities or materials that he will use to sustain you. Trust God with your whole heart , your whole mind,  your whole soul and all your strength . Keep your temple clean. Take courage from God freely for it is his good pleasure to grant it to us. Be Bold enough to be happy. Be Bold enough to enter into the Joy of the Lord. Be Bold enough for the Holy Spirit to awaken you each day with a song in your heart . Enter into the faith voyages of adventure upon the high seas of trusting in God. We are redeemed and The joy of the Lord is our strength. And if and when you do boldly enter into the Lord's joy----------------------------

       Let your joy shine.  Make them wonder what you've got.  Make them hope that they were not---- on the outside looking in. Love-laughter and a holy kiss,
